As you all know, we recently held a cool contest in which we asked you to send us your funny/interesting/original selfie and a short text to accompany the image. Today we’re happy to announce our lucky winners!

1st Prize Winner – Maira Abro from Pakistan

Maira sent us this sweet selfie of herself, telling us “I have taken selfie at home on Eid ul Uzaha” – we liked the vibrant colors and Maira won us over; Maira will get a Go Pro Hero Camera to take many more memorable photos.

2nd Prize Winner – Adelaida Millan from Venezuela

Adelaida took a selfie with her family and wrote “Proud with my beautiful family, they are the center of my life. Love you” – we have a soft spot for family portraits and so we decided to give her the second prize – a cool digital action camera, to capture a lot of fun family activities.

3rd Prize Winner – Nuruddin Ahmed from Bangladesh

Nuruddin sent us this selfie and the following text: “I am Nuruddin Ahmed with my beautiful and lovely wife Mithila Jahan. We are new couple and we got married at 13th June, 2014. This selfie was taken in the roof of our new home”. I think we don’t need to say much other than what he wrote – a great couple selfie which won Nuruddin and Mithila a monopod so they can take endless selfies in their new joint journey together.

You might remember that we promised 3 winners in the Tag YourSelfie contest, but we had so many votes for an additional selfie, that we spontaneously decided to make it 4 winners!

4th Prize Winner – Irtiza Nakvi from Pakistan

Irtiza took this cool and stylish photo of him and his friends – it’s fun and we like the filter. Looks like a fun gang to hang out with! Thank to this selfie, Irtiza will also receive a monopod that he and his friends can use in all their activities, trips and fun times.

For the past month or two, there were two things that you simply could not miss: the World Cup and the “Kick Up your Team Spirit” contest!

We asked you to send us your images of support, showing your enthusiasm, team spirit and love for you team or country, and we sure did get many great images from all around the world. After narrowing down the submissions and reviewing all the different images, we’re happy to announce that the winners have been chosen!

Jean Pier sent us this image of support for Italy’s national team long after they were already disqualified from the World Cup – we loved the creativity, the use of flags, colors and of course – the Payoneer card 🙂 Jean Pier’s original image granted him the first prize – Beats Studio Headphones!

Luis’s epic Ecuador selfie truly shows the unity and team spirit when supporting your national team! It’s bubbly, full of spirit and smiles, and exactly what we wanted this contest to depict. This great submission granted Luis the second prize – an original National Team T-shirt!

Mauricio from Argentina

Mauricio took this photo of his friends supporting Argentina in the World Cup, with full kits and a big patriotic flag – he received 120 likes and 16 shares, which makes him the fan favorite. Argentina may have not won the World Cup, but Mauricio will receive a World Cup inspired portable Bluetooth speaker!

Ahmed sent us this image and proved that you don’t need much more than a huge flag of your country in order to support your team and get over 400 likes! Ahmed will receive an official World Cup T-Shirt for his submission.

Zayed from Bangladesh

Zayed is all the way in Bangladesh but showed us his great support for Argentina, with this creative team spirit image! We’re guessing the Payoneer community liked it as well, since it received 63 shares. Zayed will win the World Cup Caxirola so he can always remember the 2014 World Cup.

As you know, Payoneer decided to showcase some Spring spirit by creating a cool and artistic contest, asking people to design a Spring-inspired cover photo for our official Facebook page, in our “Signs of Spring” Contest. We received many submissions, full of life, color and smiles, truly portraying what Spring is like for each of you, in all corners of the world. After narrowing down the submissions and going through all the creative designs, we’re happy to announce that the winners have been chosen!

Cyrine Sbaa from Tunisia

We chose Cyrine’s design because of its originality and use of natural elements – Spring is a lot about nature, bloom and an earthy feeling and this is what this design made us feel! We also liked that it spelled out our company’s name 🙂 Cyrine’s original and unique image scored him the 1st prize – a digital camera, to capture as many special and cool moments as this one.

Agus Riyantiko from Indonesia

Agus from Indonesia chose to celebrate Spring in the greatest way – among friends. We liked the unity and team spirit, the vivid colors and also the short text that came with the image. It sure looks like fun up on the mountains in Pandak Colo! Agus’s submission granted him the 2nd prize – a digital photo frame, to share all his images with friends and family in his home.

Awais Ahmad Awan from Pakistan

Awais took a photo in his garden and received 110 likes, 16 shares and 12 comments! We guess you really liked it and perhaps it symbolizes Spring for many people, and this is why it became so popular. Awais’s submission got him a cool portable bluetooth speaker, which he can take out for trips and picnics with his friend this coming Spring.

Imam’s submission of a Spring sunset in Bangladesh received 252 likes from the Payoneer community! We’re guessing his nice text attached to the image brought in so many likes. Imam will receive a Payoneer beach bag which we hope he can enjoy this coming Summer as well.

Sahli Ayoub from Morocco

Sahli’s image of delicate flowers brought him 13 shares from the Payoneer community! We also like the focus on nature and attention to detail in the macro shot. Sahli will also receive the Payoneer beach bag, and we hope he enjoys it to the fullest.

Throughout December and January we had the pleasure of receiving so many inspiring and interesting stories as part of the “Looking Back at 2013” contest. We got to read stories from all parts of the world, written by men and women, young and old, all with one thing in common – Payoneer gave them opportunities and chances they didn’t have before, simply changing their lives. We were moved and inspired by all your stories and now are very happy to announce our winners – the top 3 Payoneer stories for 2013!

“In 2013 – I started my startup called – Dwetech. I have a team of 5 members. Though I’m still at high school – but I hired all Computer Engineers! And still for all our company online transaction and receiving international payment I relay on Payoneer.”

In first place, winning a Kindle Fire HDX, is Abdullah Al Jahid from Bangladesh. Abdullah’s success story truly moved us – wanting to get into the world of computers and programming, Abdullah used Payoneer to become a freelancer and to open his own startup and online business! After a month of receiving beautiful and innovative design submissions we are happy to announce that we’ve selected the winners for the Payoneer Card Design Contest!

The community team here at Payoneer had a very difficult time choosing a winner as we received so many amazing designs. While in the end we had to choose a winner, we wanted to thank everyone for participating and taking the time to share their designs with us. We had a great time viewing each and every one of them! Now for the winners:

Payoneer’s Choice, winning an iPad, is Fil Dunsky. We absolutely loved the originality of Fil’s design:

Payoneer’s Choice runner up, winning an iPad Mini, is Alejandro Cordara. Alejandro also shared the artistic process with us in a video he uploaded online, which we thought was an amazing addition!

Fan Favorite, which was based on online voting by the Payoneer community, was won by Ishara Dhnushka Kaluarachchi. We saw an amazing amount of user feedback for this design with thousands of likes and comments:

Most Liked, with the most likes on Facebook and other social media channels, was Soùfiàne Safrouri’s design. Well done!
