VAT Update: Now You Can Pay VAT in Czech Korunas

We know that paying VAT can be a confusing and cumbersome process, which is exactly why we’ve updated our VAT collection service so that you can pay VAT in Czech korunas (CZK), instead of guessing how much you need to pay in euros.

Let’s break down how the new process works:

  1. Anyone who wishes to pay their VAT in CZK will be required to have balances in those currencies.
  2. If you do not have a balance in CZK, log into the VAT service and choose Czech Republic. A new currency balance for Czech Republic will be added to your account. You will then need to convert your existing funds into CZK, which can be done through Manage Currencies in your account, as seen below:
  3. To pay your VAT, go to the VAT portal and choose Czech Republic. You’ll now be able to fill in the amount in CZK instead of EUR, as seen below:
  4. Your payment will then be sent to the VAT authority in the currency you selected.

That’s it! After you finish, you’ll see the confirmation screen below. Be sure to download or print a summary and confirmation of your VAT payment for your records.
