Amazon account tips from an online seller

We recently had the chance to speak with one of our account holders, Mr. Kimishima, who also has a blog. He shared his experience using Payoneer and offers tips on how to avoid Amazon account suspension.

What do you do, and how did you hear about Payoneer?Mr.Kimishima

I’ve been selling on eBay since March 2011. My main business is online exporting and it has incorporated already. I began thinking of selling on Amazon in Spring 2013, however I encountered an issue where I couldn’t receive the payments without a US bank account.  At that time, the choice was either to use Union Bank which has a risk the bank account might be frozen if it’s used for business purpose or to establish a US entity. Both choices were not a good option for me. Then I discovered Payoneer. Payoneer is known as providing a US bank account easily, so I decided to try. In fact, I could get payments so easily! Since then I’ve kept using Payoneer.

What do you think are the risks of selling online?

The risk is the suspension of the Amazon account. Once the account is disabled, the selling volume suddenly turns to be zero. The suspension is usually caused when the original makers of the product file a claim, and isn’t related to the selected product categories. One of the countermeasures is to use only Fulfillment by Amazon. This way, the account suspension usually won’t happen.

Are you satisfied with Payoneer’s services?

Yes, I’m happy with it. After I tried the service myself, I feel that Payoneer listens to users’ voice and always tries to provide a better service to account holders. I would recommend Payoneer if you need to receive payments to a US bank account.
