We completely redesigned the Payoneer blog. Here’s why.
If you’re a regular reader of the Payoneer’s Blog, you’ve probably noticed things look a little bit different today. It’s not just you. Over the past few months, we gave the Payoneer Blog a pretty drastic makeover. A lot of planning and strategizing went into the new design, so we thought we’d share why we made the changes we did.
1) To Improve Content Discoverability
Prior to our redesign, the end of our blog posts were a big dead end and we wanted our visitors to stick around and check out more content. To encourage people to stick around, we’ve added the option to explore more content similar to the topics the user is interested in.
2) To Improve Usability
When you’re designing a blog, it’s all too easy to clutter your blog with miscellaneous features, plugins, widgets, and add-ons. But people mostly just want to be able to consume/ share your content, and they don’t want to have to jump through a bunch of hoops to do it. We worked hard to simplify the blog, improve usability and make our content more accessible. In addition, we’ve made it a lot simpler for visitors to share our content with their social networks and colleagues by adding social sharing buttons to each post and fixing those buttons so you can share whenever the mood strikes as you scroll down the page.
3) To Better Support Our Goals
When our content team was tasked with achieving some pretty aggressive growth goals, we knew we needed to keep those goals in mind as we were planning our blog redesign. Because traffic and subscriber generation are the most important goals for our blog, we added more opportunities for visitors to subscribe via email. In the past, subscribing to the blog meant that you received blog posts from ALL languages, which was a total failure on our part. With the new blog redesign, you can subscribe to the language most relevant to you.
4) To Create a Better Mobile Experience
Truth be told, our blog’s mobile experience left something to be desired. In fact….there was no mobile experience. There we said it!! So, we made sure that we thought about mobile users with a completely responsive blog design.
So, there you have it. Payoneer’s blog has finally grown up and allows us to offer localized content to help you grow your business. Stay tuned in the coming months where we’ll bring you the latest in industry trends, great tips & tricks, and everything you need to be successful with Payoneer.
