How to Submit Your Required Documents to Use Payoneer’s Global Payment Service

Payoneer’s Global Payment Service provides you with international receiving accounts that allow your international clients to pay you via local bank transfer – just like a local employee with a local bank account.

As a regulated US company, we often require documentation to ensure the security of our account holders and to comply with industry rules and regulations. In order to avoid any delays with your payments, it’s best to provide the required documents as soon as possible, once you’ve joined Payoneer.

So, here’s how you can quickly and simply provide documentation in order to continue using the Global Payment Service.

  1. Sign in to your Payoneer account
  2. Go to Settings and then to Verification Center
  3. Click on Account Verification and Provide Business Details to see which documents you need to provide.

Here are the documents you’ll need to submit:

Government-Issued Photo ID

Your government-issued photo ID is required for account verification.

Tips for success:

  • Upload a copy of a valid government-issued photo ID. A national ID card, passport, or driver’s license are all valid.
  • Make sure your ID hasn’t expired.
  • Make sure you upload copies of both sides of your ID.
  • The image of your ID must be clear, with no obstructions (such as your fingers).
  • A color copy is preferable to black and white.
  • Scanned images of your ID are preferable to pictures. If you take a picture with a camera or phone, make sure that the picture is straight and do not use flash.

Questionnaire

You’ll need to fill out the global payment service questionnaire in order to provide us with details about your business.

Tips for success:

If you’re an eSeller and sell on marketplaces such as Amazon, Etsy, or eBay, you can:

  • Provide a link to one of your stores
  • Make sure your store is active, and has items listed for sale

If you sell goods or services on your own website using a payment processor such as PayPal, Skrill, or WePay, you can:

  • Provide a link to your website, and a description of your products or services
  • Provide confirmation that you own or manage this website by: (1) linking to a page that shows your name, (2) sending us a whois report or (3) uploading a test file to the domain with the text “Global Payment Service verification”

If you’re a freelancer working using a freelance marketplace, you can:

  • Provide a link to your profile on one of the marketplaces
  • Make sure your profile is active and shows a job history

If you’re earning funds working with online affiliate networks, you can:

  • Provide a link to the website you use to generate affiliate traffic
  • Provide confirmation that you own or manage this website by: (1) linking to a page that shows your name, (2) sending us a whois report or (3) uploading a test file to the domain with the text “Global Payment Service verification”

If you’re receiving business-related payments and do not fall into any of the above categories, fill in all sections of the questionnaire to the best of your ability and supply any documents that accurately describe your business. Once all your details have been submitted, you will be able to start accepting payments. You can view your submitted documents by clicking on History.
