Why is Payoneer Asking Me to Change My Password?

At Payoneer, we’re always on the lookout for effective ways to keep your funds safe and secure when using our products and services. Your account password is the front-line of defense when it comes to our overall security and that’s why we have updated our requirements regarding password safety. Here’s a bit more info.

Why should I change my password?

When it comes to online security, the weakest link is  your password.  The National Security Agency’s Systems and Network Analysis Center suggests that you change your password every 90 days.  With the amount of sites we enter on a daily basis, the only way to remember all that information is to not have to remember it at all.  Check out the best password managers for 2015 to help you choose the right tool for you.

How does this requirement effect me?

Once your password has expired, you will be prompted to change it on your next log in. This ensures that your account security is regularly changed and is therefore continually secure.

*We will never ask for your password via an email & we will never send you to a non-Payoneer site to change your password
