The idea for MotionElements came from….
a real and desperate need. Co-founders, Joanne and Mark, realized there was a demand for clients looking for interesting content with a lower budget and shorter time frame, yet still high quality. They discovered there was no marketplace to purchase stock videos, and more specifically, video footage with Asian people, layered video elements and video templates.
Also, they found that Asia has tremendous talent in video creation. Unfortunately, these creators have limited exposure and we felt it was a huge waste. Hence we created a platform for video creators to connect, create and earn.
We’re different from other stock photography websites…
in that we’re one of the first microstock marketplaces to focus on video. With an early start, we defined our business to align with the view of the future, and also built a strong community of video creators.
MotionElements is also different technology wise, giving users the ability to search for their ideal stock content using images, keywords and audio tracks (coming soon!). We have few competitors in the region focusing on royalty-free video marketplace.

to look for the gaps. We see a significant lack in supply of Asian faces and Asian-themed content to the demand out there, so we encourage more artists to try and produce that kind of content.
