A Look Back at Payoneer: 2014
It has been an exciting year for the Payoneer team. With huge advances in our platform and some exciting changes with our brand, 2014 was a great year. Before we start anew with lots more changes and improvements, let’s first take a look back at what we accomplished in 2014.
Company Updates
1. Company Rebranding
At Payoneer, our goal is to empower global commerce by connecting businesses, professionals, countries and currencies. With our innovative cross-border payments solutions, the engineer in Bangladesh, translator in Australia, online seller in China and vacation host in Venezuela are now empowered to transact globally as easily as they do locally. Leading businesses from the US and Europe are now able to leverage the incredible talent found among professionals in Asia and Latin America. The images you now see represent the businesses, people, countries and currencies that Payoneer represent. Look out for some even BIGGER changes in 2015!
2. Refer a Friend Program
Simply put, the Refer a Friend Program is a great way for Payoneer users to earn extra cash by telling their friends about Payoneer. What’s unique about the program is that we reward both the referral and the affiliate. By referring new friends, you not only offer them a high quality and secure place to manage their money, you also earn a commission for each referral. 3. Payoneer Brand Ambassador Program
True to our brand message of connecting businesses, professionals, countries and currencies, the goal of Payoneer Brand Ambassadors and the Payoneer Forum is for us to connect more closely with our customers worldwide. We are organizing a series of events, run locally by our Payoneer Brand Ambassadors, and packed with informative presentations from respected professionals, partners and customers. We recently hosted events in Islamabad, Bangladesh, Argentina and Tokyo and 2015 will bring a slew of new location as well as smaller meetups, VIP events and various opportunities to help YOU grow your business.
Platform Updates
1. Redesigned Mobile application (Download HERE)
The Payoneer Mobile App was redesigned from the ground up to include compatibility with SIM-free devices, card charge alert notifications, mobile payments, and support for multiple languages. In addition, users can not submit customer support inquiries directly from the mobile app AND, users can access their Refer a Friend program information to share the Payoneer love with their friends.
2. US/EU Payment Service
Many of our customers had trouble creating work relationships with US/ EU companies because they did not have a US/ EU bank account in which to receive payments. Now Payoneer users can receive ACH transfers from US companies and SEPA transfers from EU companies, directly to their Payoneer Account.
3. Withdrawal to local bank account
In today’s fast-paced business world, flexibility is key. With Payoneer’s Withdraw to Bank Account Service, you can both transfer funds from your Payoneer Account to your local bank account, and also withdraw funds in up to 90 currencies. This service is currently available in 80 countries.
4. Send a US Payment Request
Easily send a request for payment to a US company, providing them with your US Payment Service details and instructions on how to send you funds via US Direct Deposit. Additional information is available by logging in to your Payoneer Account and going to the “Receive Money” menu.
5. New and Improved Multilingual Support Center
Our Support Center will easily assist you in finding relevant information on the most commonly asked questions and difficulties experienced with our products and services. Additionally, our support is now multilingual and features improved search capabilities. We are actively adding new content daily. On the Horizon
2015 is going to be a big year for Payoneer’s platform design. We’re taking a fresh perspective on both the desktop and mobile platform to provide our clients with a more user-friendly and intuitive experience. The entire platform with be redesigned from the core, to offer Payoneer clients the easiest way to accept, transfer and utilize your global payments.
