Everything you need to know about Global Bank Transfer Service

Payoneer’s Global Bank Transfer Service allows our users to receive wire transfers directly to their bank account in over 200 countries and 50 currencies worldwide. We are thrilled to announce that Payoneer has lowered the fees for local bank transfers in over 55 countries to just $2.99!*

It’s exciting, yes, but we felt it wasn’t enough, so we took it further. For six major currencies, the conversion will be determined at only 2% above the official market mid-rate! These six currencies include: Euro (EUR), British Pound (GBP), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Philippine Peso (PHP), Australian Dollar (AUD) and Romanian Leu (RON).

For new members, to sign up for the Global Bank Transfer (GBT) Service, go to the partner website and choose Payoneer as your payment option.  Next, complete the following:

1. On the main application page, enter your country and select to get paid via the Global Bank Transfer Service:

2. Enter your personal details and click “continue”

3. Enter your bank details and click “submit”

That’s it! Your application will be submitted, and reviewed within a few business days.  Once processed, you’ll receive an e-mail confirmation with further details. For any questions please feel free to contact us at http://www.payoneer.com/contactUs.aspx

I already have a Payoneer OHT prepaid MasterCard, however being paid directly to my local bank account in Philippine Peso sounds better to me. Is it possible to change my payment option from prepaid MasterCard to GBT? Looking forward to your reply!

    • http://www.payoneer.com/ Nissim

Yes, you can. You need to e-mail lbt@payoneer.com and request to change your payment method to GBT. They will get back to you with further details on how to do that.

    Hi there,

I’ve seen that Somalia is in the list of countries to which funds can be transferred using the GBT service. May I know whether the transfer process is done via wire transfer (i.e. to a bank account) or you actually use one of the local money transfer companies to facilitate the same? Thanks!

    • http://www.payoneer.com/ Nissim

For Somalia we support payments via wire transfer, in either USD or EUR.

  • Tony

I am from Kenya and very interested. Just for clarification what are the steps involved in global payout. Does my bank need to have registered with Payoneer. Are their specific banks used in Kenya. Thanks

    • Rita

Hi Tony, GBT allows you to receive local transfers directly to your bank account. To sign up for this service, go to the Payoneer Sign Up page from your paying partner account and look for the Worldwide Bank Transfer Service that is located under the prepaid card sign up. Select your country and you will be directed to the Global Bank transfers service sign up.

Is GBT work for Pakistan? if yes whats is procedure for sign up? and fee?

  • Romi

The GBT service is for select partners that have it available. Your fee and pricing structure can be found in your “My Account”, under general infomation. The annual fee is charged once a year, while the other fees depend on the transaction. We don’t charge $3.15 for receiving a payment, for example. This is only for ATM withdrawal. For clarification of fees, it’s best to check them out in you account.

    • Romi

      Hi Reggie,
If you’re referring to GBT fees, the fee varies according to the type of transfer (wire, local transfer) and other parameters. You can see a full list of fees and pricing on your My Account, under the General Information tab (also the annual fee etc).

We do not support funding via another person’s PayPal account. If your client is a US company, however, they can send US bank transfers directly to your US Payment Service (from their US company bank account).

  • Justine

    Hi Martin,

You are unable to do so as the client needs to be in the US. But you have 2 options, if your client is a company they can apply to be a partner with us?

We suggest our private loads service: http://www.payoneer.com/PrivateLoads.aspx

  • Romi

    Hi Jo,
The GBT service is given through select partners who can offer this and pay you to your bank account. This needs to be done through the requested partner’s website separately from Payoneer (when choosing a payout method).
