Founder of snap2objects discusses business before and after Payoneer

Mauricio Duque is the founder of snap2objects.com and a self-taught graphic and web designer who loves indie music, reiki and yoga. Now he is a full time blogger/ web-entrepreneur and took the time to discuss Payoneer and how it helped to grow his business.

 

“Remember how it was before the USB drives? Stacks of CDs everywhere and how unreliable they were? (not to mention the diskette nightmare, God that was awful!) Now flash memory is ubiquitous in the form of USB drives or our smart phones they are every where even the newest computers does not support cd drives anymore.

Well that is the same feeling I have since I am using Payoneer,   I am not kidding!. I work as professional blogger and I receive payments from my clients via Paypal from all over the world. But in the moment I wanted to withdraw the money from my account the magic was over. Columbians have just 2 options: to withdraw to a US based bank account or to receive payment via check.

Since I didn’t have an American bank account (God knows how much I tried ) I created a work-around.  I would send the money to an American friend of mine and he would send me back the money via xoom service. It was fast, when my friend was available, but pretty expensive. Besides that,  I had to bother him every time I need to withdraw money, which was inconvenient for both of us.

Now, all that is a thing from the past. I just transfer the amount I need from Paypal to my US Payment Service account and in a couple of days the money is available on my Payoneer card. That’s it, a lot cheaper than the former method and without any fuss. When I remember how it was before I can’t believe how difficult it was. Why this service didn’t existed before! Well I guess it always take a while for innovations like the USB drives to become available to the public. Thank you Payoneer for making my business easier.”
