Simplifying Payment Processes with Hubstaff

We here at Hubstaff are all about helping teams around the world work better, as we ourselves, are a 100% remote team. With our time tracking software, we enable businesses worldwide to better manage their team of freelancers.

Teaming up with all-in-one payments platform, Payoneer, has helped us to significantly simplify our payroll and provide our employees with flexibility when it comes to choosing how they’d like to receive their weekly or monthly payments.

As a remote company, it was important for us to find a payment solution that would allow us to pay our employees regardless of which country they reside in or the currency they use. We also needed a reputable solution that’s regulated in both the US and the EU.

Payoneer fit the bill perfectly, and that’s why we developed a solution that allows for seamless integration between Payoneer and Hubstaff.

Payoneer & Hubstaff Integration

Hubstaff is a popular tool to track time and productivity, especially among remote teams and companies who spend a lot of time in the field.

Businesses use our software to track time, simplify payroll, and help keep track of remote employees. Since we’re particularly useful for remote teams, many of our users need to navigate payments for lots of different working arrangements.

This new integration has been very effective at streamlining payroll. For the Hubstaff users who already used Payoneer, this integration has saved loads of time and money.

Through the integration, employers can handle both hourly and fixed-rate payments. This happens automatically or manually depending on the situation and preference.

Each worker can be assigned a different hourly rate and pay period. If you work with freelancers, this is a great way to schedule payments according to each individual arrangement. You can easily automate payroll for different types of roles at your company, too.

Some software developers try to make products that can do all things for all people. That’s not our approach. We’d rather specialize and create a piece of software that does a few things really, really well.

Integrations are how we make it easy for businesses to get exactly what they need without a bunch of features they don’t want. Integrating with Payoneer was an obvious choice.

Why Use the Payoneer & Hubstaff Integration?

Managing payroll manually is very time-consuming and prone to errors. In fact, 40% of business owners spend 80 hours or more every year on managing payroll. Outsourcing payroll management isn’t a perfect solution either since there are a number of security issues to consider.

With Payoneer and Hubstaff, you can completely automate employee time tracking and payroll without needing to outsource.

This addition has made it faster and easier to handle even the most complex payroll challenges. Whether you have a small, local team or you work with employees and contractors all over the world on a variety of terms, we can help make light work of payments.

Automation saves time, obviously. When it comes to timesheets, though, there’s an added incentive to automate:

Using time tracking software to automate your timesheets helps you reduce the error rate in your payroll fillings. That means you’re less likely to deal with IRS penalties and compliance fines on top of the time and money you save by streamlining.

How to Start Using Payoneer & Hubstaff

Need to track your employees’ time and pay them for their work? Luckily for you, it’s pretty easy to do.

Note: You need to be making at least $20,000 in transfers every month to be able to use the Payoneer integration to pay your employees. If you’re just looking to pay a couple of contractors every few weeks, you’re probably better off sending their payments manually.

Let’s take a look at how to complete your own Payoneer integration in Hubstaff.

From Hubstaff, log into the dashboard and then go to Payments > Payroll. Click the Add integration button.

Select Payoneer on the next screen and enter your details, including your Partner ID, username, API password, and program ID. Once you do that, click the Connect button.

That’s it! You’ve successfully connected your Hubstaff account to Payoneer.

Note that you’ll need to add team members to your payroll and fund your Payoneer account before you can start paying your employees. You can learn more about doing this here.
