For the second year in a row, Payoneer is proud to be ranked in the CNBC Disruptor List!

Payoneer was ranked number 13, moving up 27 spots from last year’s ranking at
number 40.

The CNBC Disruptor list is released every year ranking companies that are innovating in a way that changes their industry, the economy, and the world as we know it. Payoneer is proud to be honored as one of 50 companies which are disrupting the accepted way we live our lives in order to make things better for everyone. Winners occupy every niche, from transport to biotech, and include greats such as Duolingo, Udacity, and Lyft.

At Payoneer, we’re delighted to have our hard work recognized and to stand alongside these companies in driving change. In 2017-18, our disruptive achievements spread even further around the globe and helped earn us a place on the 2018 CNBC Disruptors list. Among other achievements, we:

High-volume Wish merchants are often stuck without a way to get working capital for reasonable rates and are forced to go into debt in order to grow their business. Payoneer’s Early Payments allows merchants to sell up to 80% of their receivables to get working capital fast and risk-free.

For the second year in a row, Payoneer gathered valuable data about the working lives of freelancers by surveying 21,000 from 170 countries worldwide. This data has been used by media outlets worldwide to understand and explain the gig economy.

  • Added AUD and CAD receiving accounts

Payoneer became even more flexible and more disruptive in 2018 when we expanded our Global Payment Service yet again. Our clients can now accept payment in Australian and Canadian dollars, opening up even more selling possibilities in those economies.

Payoneer’s disruptive influence kept on growing when we held our inaugural international eCommerce forum to fuel global growth for Indian exporters. Hundreds of Indian exporters met in Delhi for a unique learning opportunity that helps them grow their businesses in new directions.

  • Opened multiple new global offices

In 2018, Payoneer expanded its string of local offices by opening up offices in South Korea (Seoul) and the United Kingdom (London), among others. These new locations join Payoneer’s 17 offices to help businesses around the world pay and get paid faster.

We’re thrilled to have won this award for the second year running, but we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for our clients and customers. It’s your ongoing encouragement to keep on innovating and improving which has made Payoneer into one of the top 50 disruptive companies for the second year. It’s your win as much as ours, and we thank every one of you.
